Lovin Soap Studio Cold Process Soap Recipes Reviews
Love this book! Easy to follow and it holds so many different soap recipes. I highly recommend this book for soapers at every level.
Excellent book and reference tool for every soap maker
This book is perfect for someone that knows the basics of soap making and is looking to try new types of bars. I love that the descriptions are short and to the point, it's more of a recipe book than a novel which is perfect for me because with a bunch of littles at home I'm short on time and like to get to the point. If you're wanting to expand your natural soap line this book has everything you need. No mica's, palm oil, or fragrance oils. Just quality oil, natural additives and essential oil combinations. I love working with essential oils, but have trouble with making blends and this book has over 60! I had planned to change up a few of my soaps this year and I'm excited to try some of these essential oil blends and see if they sell a little better! Love this book, it's great resource!
This book is a must if you are starting out. I knew NOTHING about soap making only over a year ago. Amanda has been an amazing resource for my growth in the Soapmaking space. I can’t say enough good things about this book. The recipes are solid! I have made many of her soaps. I also love her goat milk ebook on her website. You can’t go wrong with getting this book! Amanda is also very approachable on her Facebook group.
I've been following Amanda and her husband Benjamin for a few years. I love the Saponification Nation Facebook group. This book is a quick read, jam-packed with soap recipes, and essential oil blends for the everyday soap maker. Definitely recommending this book to my soap-maker friends!
This book would have been a great asset to have on hand when I first started making soap. The explanations for the carrier oils and butters was simple, yet very informative. A great reference to have on hand. I appreciated the wide variety of recipes. Some were simple and basic with ingredients that are easy to find and have on hand. Others were more advanced and offered more options....from gentle soap for babies to options for the men in our lives. This is a reference book I will use for years to come.
This book was very helpful. I am experience soap maker and I still learned from reading this book. You can always learn! I appreciate her sharing recipes that include essential oils and different combinations of them. Also, she doesn’t just give you a recipe, she gives percentages of each ingredient, so you can make any batch size you want. I have tried the basic soap recipe as well as some others and it’s so bubbly. I highly recommend!
As someone who has only been making soap for a year, I absolutely love this book! Amanda does a fantastic job in putting together decedent recipes that are easy enough for a beginner like me to be able to make, yet also giving some very basic recipes for those just starting out and don't know where to begin. This little gem will be well used for years to come. I wish that I had it from the very beginning!
