Geometry & Measurement, Grade 3 Reviews
Does not follow the methodology Kumon has become known for. If you are looking for an incremental concept-based workbook that is associated with Kumon, this is not it. This workbook is like the math worksheets that your child is already probably bringing home from school, where the worksheet jumps from one type of problem to another (i.e., a couple of counting money problems, then a couple of telling time problems, and etc.) That s fine if that is what you want, but it is not the Kumon methodology.
Kumon rocks!! Love these! You'll notice I have a ton of them because I can't get enough for my kids, we homeschool and I love that these have a gradual progression into the subject. There's always a review and then before you know it your kid has the subject matter down. I love Kumon books and hope they keep coming out with more subjects, especially for high school!!
Some measurement increments were too small for children to count or see very well
Got it for a child I tutor. She was having difficulties with perimeter/circumference and areas. Also very helpful for weights and volumes. She's doing very well in her math studies now.
Perfect for the overachiever for more learning or any child that wants to learn more, I would say!
My children love these books! Been using Kumon books for a long time now, for part of my children's home schooling. We absolutely love them. Very easy to use & understand. Thank you Kumon!
very good book. Bright pictures and colors and truly engaging.
