Diary of a Library Nerd: An Erotic Diary of One Woman's Metamorphosis Reviews
Kyoko Church's Diary of a Library Nerd may carry an explicit content warning, but do not expect your run-of-the-mill erotic fiction. This book is way, way more than that. Expertly written in a style that's both engagingly personal as well as superbly presented, the book is full of story twists and turns that you never saw coming. The writing is smart, deep, funny, entertaining, at times full of hurt and emotion, and always fresh and real. And, of course, very, very sexy.
All in all the book was good. My main frustration was actually the illustration. The book is set up as an illustrated diary of the main character. The main character lacks confidence in her drawings but all her friends keep talking about HOW AMAZING THEY ARE. Sadly they are not. They are not awful, but the anatomy was mediocre at best, the hands and feet were always tiny and awkward and the people illustrated seemed stiff. Generally if would not bother me except for how the book kept insisting these drawings were the second coming.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I got this book, but i was pleasantly surprised. The story is well written, intriguing and well, sexy... I enjoy the premise of the story, it hits on human nature, to make assumptions about people based on what we know. In this case, the books people are reading. Sometimes we're right, sometimes we're not...
A well written, sexy and sometimes humorous journey. Cleverly uses of multiple communication mechanisms and the occasional subplot to create a fast paced and interesting read. One of the best erotic pieces I have read for a long time.
