#5287 Beaded Wild Animals (Design Originals) Reviews
I usually can pick up a pattern and go, even as a newer seed beader. However, this book is not the most intuitive. I had to take it into my local bead shop for help. More pattern-specific guidance would've been very helpful, rather than just putting pretty much all of the instructions at the beginning; it is hard to know which techniques to use! My local bead shop owner says that most of her customers wouldn't be able to do the odd-count 3D peyote. I still haven't finished the turtle pattern...my turtle is just a shell right now!
My Mother fell in love with these animals when we were at a craft show and bought one. Of course, me being a beader, I had to find out how to make them. So glad I found this book
This book is identical to one with a newer cover. I actually ordered both believing they were different. Don't make my mistake. There is a different book number on each listing too. This one is 5287
This book is excellent with the explanations if you have a beginner experience. I do not recommend it to a beginner learner.
I have been working with 3D beading and am always interested in more patterns and ideas. I haven't tried these yet but the instructions look like I will be able to once I start.
Would not recommend for beginners.
The patterns were not easy to follow and confusing. Reviewed the book and then threw it away...a waste of money and I could tell it would be a waste of my time as well.
was hoping for a better pattern to follow with this not quite what I was hoping for. would not recommend it to a beginner
