Tell Me a Tattoo Story Reviews
I was really excited for this book as both my husband and I have tattoos and thought it would be a fun way to talk to our toddler about what tattoos mean to different people. While the illustrations are excellent, I feel like not having the voice of the boy and/or the mother in this book is a real miss. The entire story is the dad telling the tale behind each of his tattoos and you hear him "parrot back" the questions the son asks but you don't get the son asking them.
Great artwork in this hard cover book. The way the story was written was difficult for my 5 year old to understand.
Fun story for children and parents. i was wondering how long it would take before someone came out with a children's book with parents
This was a Father's Day gift for my husband. It was so sweet and perfect for us because our daughter is constantly pointing out my husband's tattoos and asking about them. The storytelling style is a little advanced for my 2-year-old but she loves listening and looking at the pictures.
My daughter enjoys this story and the artist did a grea job. I do, however, wish there was a little girl book option and it was a little longer.
A cute story for father and son. There are not many words but it's a fun story and very unique. The illustrations are lovely!
An absolutely perfect book for my tattooed soldier husband. My daughter is constantly asking about his tattoos and he likes to tell her why he got them. I know he'll enjoy this. The illustrations are beautiful.
I bought this for my granddaughter. Both her parents have tattoos. She loves it and so do her parents. Each tattoo tells a story but the most important one tells of the love of the father for the son.
