A Home For Wingtip Reviews
“A Home For Wingtip!” is the perfect gift for a young reader. This imaginatively written story about a lost shoe is delightfully illustrated. The book provides a “Get To Know The Cast” and review questions to enhance comprehension skills. A good book to foster independent reading!
I am a teacher and this book is a great addition to my library. All children will relate to it's message of love and acceptance for even the most "unwanted". Plus it is a great vehicle for older students to talk about puns.
Unique Story. Nice bright colorful illustrations. This is a story that addresses grief and loss in a way a child can relate "tying" it up in hope and finally a happy ending for all.
The characters are fun. The illustrations are bright, colorful and intriguing. The story is adorable and heart warming. The humor and puns keep you smiling.
Loved the story!! So fun for kids!!
A very fun read with a good message!
I love the uniqueness of the story and character - a shoe. The story shows great character qualities and a desire to serve. The author and illustrator have done an excellent job in making you want to give the shoe a home - you start falling in love with this little guy. This story shows how seemingly bad things sometimes have to come in order to lead on the right path to happiness. A great lesson for children. Perseverance was a big thing and patience!
A cute story for children of all ages - easy to read and heart warming. I especially liked the "cast of characters" section at the end, and the fun questions that encourage young readers to learn new words. Also, they can actually write their own new and different ending for the story!!
