Crime Partners Reviews
I have always heard of Donald Goines since the seventies and have wanted to read his material and it wasn't until a friend of mine recently reminded me of him. I went on line to check out some of his titles and chose to purchase the Kenyatta series. I really enjoyed the series, although it was my thought that the end of the last four book series could have been a little better. It was kind of anti-climactic and wasn't the ending I was expecting considering the build up throughout the series, and the character Kenyatta was built up to be throughout.
Not as good as Dopefiend
I brought this book for my husband. I already brought the movie version, in which I watched over and over...The movie will take you into that street life, it has a lot of hit actors. But my husband loved the book too and so did I.
I was told he enjoyed this book! Not a book that would interest me; however it was a big hit with my brother!
I loved all Mr. Goines books I have read them. To readers keep reading his books.
Great book. He's a very good writer. Wish he was still around to write more exciting drama filled books.
Was a great book.
I was introduced to Donald Goines when I heard about the movie version of "Never Die Alone". I'm a fan of DMX so I saw it and was amazed by the story and the movie. So when I found out that the movie was based on a book, and that there was lots more, I decided to give them a try.
