Praying Through Sorrow Reviews
This is a great book for anyone who has ever lost someone they loved dearly.....I have given this book to people I know personally who have been through great sorrow and it was comforting to them.
FOr anyone going through a rough time, this is a must.
. Chris Jackson knows what he is talking about when sharing information about sorrow and how to keep going on no matter what. A medical marathon with his precious child would test every fiber of tenacity while proving God was still good amidst the trauma. Though heartache does not end in bliss, there are threads woven into the pain that can produce a synergistic effect of good. Praying Through Sorrows will help you see through the pain as you forge through the process. While all is said and done you may not come away with more answers; in fact it may be much to the contrary. What happened will never be good but God can work the sum total of our experiences for good. Chris Jackson states: "The passion of God is to wrap His heart around hurting humanity, hear their cry, and restore their dreams."
This is a great book for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved or and is trying to find God's purpose for the lost. I found this book for four dollars or 27 rand while on a mission's trip in Cape Town, South Africa. It was the best four dollars I've spent. It helped me resolve some lingering grief issues and helped me see I can still dream in spite of the lost.
