Looking at Life Cycles: How Do Plants and Animals Change? (Looking at Science: How Things Change) Reviews
Have you ever seen a woolly bear caterpillar and wondered why you only see them for a short period of time? Perhaps your teachers or someone else has told you that eventually it will spin a cocoon, hatch from it and turn into a butterfly. Later that butterfly will mate, lay eggs and a cycle will begin again. "All living things grown and change during their lives. They also reproduce, or have babies. We call these changes a life cycle." All children see things around them grow and change. They may see their puppy grow into a dog and even, if they have younger siblings, watch that lovely smiling baby grow into a pesky younger brother or sister!
