Super cute book with some ever so slightly creepy stories, but most of it is exceedingly tame... unlike the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

I really enjoyed this and my six year old son got a kick out of it too. It is a very fun read. I was worried because some of the reviews said it scared their kids. My son gets freaked out over the strangest thing (heater blowing the curtains in his room). He didn't have any problems with this- he thought it was silly.

I purchased this for my grandchildren for when they get older. Having read it I found that it is a bit of fun for those that like the strange.

This book is fun for the child it is being read to and for the adult who is reading it. The illustrations are just as much fun as the words. My grandchildren and I love, love, love it!!

What a cute little spooky book. I love the art work! Would have purchased it just for that. But as a bonus, there are limericks to go with the wonderful art and they are actually fun to read. Of course, some of them are funnier than others but they are all enjoyable. Definitely a keeper for me. As for the 6-8 age group listed on Amazon, I would read it first. Some of the limericks might bother some children.
