SO good. I have loved this goofy, clever book for many years and was delighted to share it with my grandchildren ages 9 and 5 who also love it.

I had to buy this to replace my worn, lost 1970's original. I also bought "CDC?" as a companion. I have always loved this book!

Bought this book to allow me to retire my old copy. A few weeks after the fact, my little cousin was over and fell in love with the book so I gave it to her. To be honest, it was kinda funny because she was able to "solve" the statements much faster than her father who got a little flustered. Definitely recommend to anyone- it's a classic.

I love these silly books by Steig. Good for adults as well as kids. Makes your "reading" mind work a little differently. You often have to say aloud the combination of letters to hear yourself, thus figuring it out. The illustrations are helpful. One really stumped the whole family. Thank goodness there's a key in the back!

My mother had a paperback of this book when my kids were small (she found it at a garage sale). When she passed, my nephew got the book as he was the oldest of the grand-kids. I wanted to get this for my grand-daughter. She is still too young to understand/read it, but I wanted to continue the tradition. My daughter was so pleased I bought this for my grand-daughter - it was a hit at her 1st birthday party!

I loved this book when I worked as a library aide at my daughter's elementary school and I love it now. I bought this copy for my 3 year old grandson. My daughter was delighted to see the book again too!
