An older publication, this book is relevant and the author quite knowledgeable and fun to read.
I think books like this are as personal as any book can be. For us this book suits our style and way of living very closely, so it stands to reason that we love this book . It is our favorite decorating book so far. this is a HUGE disappointment. since when did the british embrace used, and down at heel, as a background in their homes? this book is a collection of photographs of the ways not to live. ...everything from the wallpaper, to the fireplace surrounds, looks likes it needs a cleaning. send this book to the remainder bin.
